The World At Their Feet initiative is a football and engagement project for Bangladeshi young men living in Charnwood (mostly within the Hastings and Lemyngton wards). The Sports-Link project officer began to support the World At their Feet project in August 2003 to continue the excellent work that has already taken place by Charnwood Racial Equality Council and community mentors. The Sports-Link project has enabled the participants on the project to enter 2 football teams into a competitive 5-A-Side football league at Charnwood Leisure Centre. Both teams have excelled within the league and have made many friends. The first team to be entered into the league- Mosq Side A won their league at the first attempt.
