Charnwood Borough Council, Shepshed Youth Club and Sports-Link worked in partnership to organise a special sports day and BBQ on Friday 13 August 2004. The fun-packed day took place on Glenfield Park offered young people and their families the chance to take part in a range of sports including football, rounders, tennis, cricket and multi-sports. Those who attended had a great time and participated in range of activities despite the wet weather.
