Sports-Link and Leicestershire County Council- Youth Service are working in partnership to promote cohesion through the creation of a 'World United' Football Team(s). The football team(s) will be made up of players living in Loughborough with a different nationality. It is envisaged that the team(s) will be made up of boys/girls/ men and women from countries including Albania, Bangladesh, Iraq, Iran, Kosovo, and Great Britain. It is envisaged that the teams will travel around the country promoting cohesion, and fair play whilst playing a few games on their travels.
