Sports-Link and Charnwood Borough Council organised a 'village walk' around Hastings and Lemyngton on Friday 9 July 2004. The Mayor of Charnwood Councillor Mike Jones led participants through the historic streets 'telling tales' of the area in which he grew up. The walk was very successful and was attended by small children and adults of varying ages.
