Sports-Link, Charnwood Borough Council and Leicestershire County Council organised a community sports day in Sileby during August 2004. The event was designed to bring together young people from Barrow-Upon-Soar, Sileby and other nearby villages. A range of activities were available during the day including tug-of-war, athletics, 5-A-Side football and rounders. 80 young people particiapted in the activities during the day.
