Sports-Link has been chosen as a 'preferred organisation' in the Leicester City Football Clubs players Charity Scheme, in which each player in the senior squad is allocated to a Leicestershire based organisation. As a chosen organisation, Sports-Link will receive a package of benefits including:

- Original Signed Shirt of the allocated player
- First team and Family Nights Football packages
- Use of the allocated player for campaign endorsements
- One appearance by allocated player at a Sports-Link event
- Article about Sports-Link in one of the match-day magazines

Cath Morton, Sports-Link project Officer attended an official photo-call day on Tuesday 3 August 2004 to meet Lee Morris who is the designated player assigned to support the Sports-Link project.
