Sports-Link in partnership with Charnwood Borough Council organised a football tournament at the annual Mela Festival on Monday 30 August 2004. 8 teams entered the thrilling tournament which bought together participants from Bangladesh, Great Britain, Pakistan, and Albania.
There were also alternative sports on offer for those not a fan of football including dance, rugby skills, hockey and netball. 155 participants were involved on the day
