Charnwood Borough Council are offering a Rural Rides Programme commencing in April 2005. Charnwood Borough Council in partnership with North west Leicestershire District Council, The Cyclists Tourists Group and The District Cycle Users Campaign have produced a programme of led cycle routes across the county. The programmes are designed for casual riders, and the routes will follow quiet lanes and off road paths at a leisurely pace. A launch ride will take place on Sunday 17 April 2005.
