The Catalyst Fund is a fund for the East Midlands. It provides grants of up to £6000 to young people and community groups to run activities that benefit a target community. In Leiceestershire the target community community is young people aged 16-25 years and young people aged 13-16 years who have ben excluded from school. Funding is available for up to 3 years from 2005. The Catalyst Fund is based at the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Community Foundation.
