The Football Foundation is the UK's largest sports charity with a £53m per year investment into communities. The Foundation is committed to improving the national game and investing in the health of the country. The Football Foundation was launched in July 2000 by the football authorities and the Government to provide investment into grass routes football, the Football Foundation represents a unique partnership of the Football Association, Department of Culture Media and Sport, and Sport England who jointly contribute £53 m that the Foundation distributes in grant aid. There are various grant schemes available including Grass routes, Community and Education, and Kit Schemes.
