Through a successful partnership between Sports-Link, Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport Partnership and the national charity Street Games a number of fantastic street and community based opportunities have become accessible across Charnwood. To celebrate the effective partnership of the concept of street games locally a football tournament was held in October 2007 at Loughborough Leisure Centre and a mini-league has been running at Cobden MUGA.
